Mixing dairy products dynamically

INDAG mixers are very suitable for mixing different dairy products. In our new video we show the mixing of curd and herbs.

The curd (quark) is fed into the solid-liquid inline mixer at 10°C by an external pump. The herbs are fed into the INDAG solid-liquid inline mixer through a solid feeder (dosing scale). There could be one or more solid streams at the same time. The same applies to the liquid component. The rotating mixer generates sufficient pressure by the screw to feed the incoming products through its own mixing zone. After the mixer, 0.2 - 0.5bar(g) is still available, depending on the product. In the mixing zone, all components are mixed gently and very homogeneously, without introducing air and without increase in temperature. The product leaves the mixer at the front as a finished mixture and can be filled or further processed.
