Our DLM/FS Solid-Liquid Inline Mixer with pin elements in the mixing zone was used for these exciting tests. In order to optimally mix the highly viscous adhesive with powder, the adhesive for this mixing application was heated to a high temperature and fed into the mixer, which was also heated. Powder additives were dosed at 1% of the total quantity via a gravimetric solid dosing unit. The powder was mixed homogeneously into the adhesive mass.
